have assisted individuals experiencing common daily stressors, life transitions, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Anger Management, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Domestic Violence, and Substance Use Disorders. I conduct clinical assessments, develop diagnoses, and participate in developing person-centered treatment plans with clients. I am available to schedule individual, couple, and family sessions.

My areas of competence include administering the Edinburgh Scale (EPDS), which is used to detect signs of postpartum depression in clients who are new mothers, or who have young infants in the home; and administering the Relationship Assessment Tool, which is based upon the assessment of the development and validation of the Women’s Experience with Battering (WEB) scale. I am also knowledgeable in providing early intervention in-home treatment to clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Also, while working as a paraprofessional, I developed an American Sign Language program, where I taught basic sign language to paraprofessionals and BISS workers who treat clients who are nonverbal and/or diagnosed with ASD. In addition to this, I have provided in-school behavioral health treatment to grade school, middle school, and high school aged children diagnosed with disorders such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
While working in school-based and home-based settings, I adhered to the treatment plan outlined in the individual client’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Lastly, I have worked with the adolescent population, including those seeking substance abuse treatment, who were referred to the Palama Settlement outpatient treatment program under the Family Court, Children and Youth Probationary Services Branch.

Demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity is important while treating individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Having traveled extensively, to areas including Australia, Brazil, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Aruba, England, Italy, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico, I have been exposed to and worked with people from many different cultures. In addition to working with a diverse range of clients, I have also worked with all age ranges, including early intervention cases from birth to 2 years old, toddlers, children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.
